Reborn out of a desire to recycle, reuse and reduce our consumption, comes a collection of hand-made cards made from second-hand items, to give many things another chance to make people smile. 

Rather than end up in the landfill, these previously enjoyed "ingredients" have been given a second life.  A lot of the ingredients have been mixed with nature's offcasts too.  Although not their first time around, there is still an artistic value in something which can often be perceived only as waste.

I'm still attempting to get all the envelopes second hand too, although some of them aren't quite yet, so I've tried to use recycled paper where possible.

To give you an idea of items that have been used:

• Recycled paper and card off-cuts and scraps
• Carpet samples
• Lost buttons, broken necklaces odd clips and zips
• Deflated or burst balloons
• Leather pieces and off cuts from furniture makers
• Second hand fabrics or off cuts and scrap
• Patterns from pages of magazines - no trade marks or copyrights
• Promotional flyers - out of date
• Old posters - out of date or over printing
• Used gift wrap and gift decoration
• Nature's discards - deciduous leaves, seed pods, deseeded flower heads
• Stones, grasses and shells, things already past their 'live date'.
• Old photographs
• Excess packaging
• Other items second hand or given as scrap. - any type of 'stuff' which I can see a design use for, instead of heading to land fill.
